Dr. Brad McClung, a native of Tiffin, returned in 1981 after graduating summa cum laude from the Ohio State Veterinary School. He joined his late father in practice, Dr. RW McClung, and has enjoyed being a mixed animal practitioner in the region. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has special interests in dermatology and reproductive medicine. He shares his life with his wife, two children, five dogs, three cats, horse and assorted farm animals.
We started going to Dr. Brad in 2008 after being dissatisfied with our Vet at the time. Oh my, we were so impressed with his love and affection for our babies and that of his staff towards our babies that we cannot speak highly enough of the care that he gives to our babies. We know he has many clients but he makes all our babies feel as if they are the most important baby there! It is nothing to speak to Dr. Brad at 5.00 a.m. in the morning if we have a problem with one of the girls and their birthing.
When we take our baby’s babies in for their 1st check up at day one when mommy goes in, he checks them out fully especially for their balance then they are back to him between day 2 - 5 to have their dew claws removed. They are wormed every 2 weeks and at 6 weeks Dr. Brad is the villain as he gives them their first set of shots and another complete physical.
Dr. Brad is one in a million along with Dr. Ryan and the staff of McClung’s Animal Hospital - we trust his judgement completely as our babies are exactly that our babies and when there is a problem it is Dr. Brad or Dr. Ryan to the rescue! Every time we have to take one of our babies to the Vets we thank God for leading us to him and his staff.
DR. Ryan Burger is a Willard native, a 1998 graduate of the University of Findlay, and a 2002 graduate of Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, he joined his father, Dr. Alvin Burger in a mixed animal practice. He has worked for Banfield Pet Hospitals and a Galion Animal Hospital. Dr Burger‘s interests include breeding and showing Percheron Draft Horses and he is an avid sports enthusiast.
Dr. Ryan is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery for companion animals, exotics, and equine. Dr. Burger’s life is enriched with a girlfriend and son, 20 Percherons, and an Australian shepherd.
